This is what I believe is one of the first Fractal Tone Match packs! This is a practice in the Kemper, ToneX, and Quad Cortex world where amp packs have captures available at different settings I chose to bring this to the Fractal world! In my opinion, tone matches bring a realness to the low end that you can’t get otherwise! It truly feels like a real amp. Tone Matches are essentially a capture of the real amp.
The Two Rock Traditional Clean is a high headroom clean amp with an amazing low end bounce, clean compression that sings, and perfect note separation. Essentially this is the successor to the John Mayer Signature amp. In this pack you will receive one full preset and 7 tone match presets that are just the amp, tone match IR, and reverb at different settings. The amp was mic’d with an SM57 and Beyerdynamics 160 Ribbon. I hope you enjoy these!

FLAT: All knobs set at noon
BM+: Bright, Mid, and Bass switches engaged
FAV: John Mayer settings without the bass switch

*These presets are saved as FAS Bundles. Please see the READ ME file included in the downloads on how to import.

This one is a good starting point to nail the Mayer tone ! Very precise and warm tones ! I definitely recommend this one :)
The magic that is Fractal combined with Jons dedication is a killer combo.I have purchased several of the tone matches on this site. Jons matches are professional quality. For this two rock - Short of buying the $4,500 USD amp, this is it. Playing real pedals into these and getting incredible tones. Such amazing value. Thankyou Jon and may the tone matches keep coming.
I have several of Jon's Fractal Tone Match packs, and he has done an excellent job with them. The feel and tone are just fantastic. I highly recommend that others check them out. I've been enjoying each and every pack I've purchased so far, but I must say that Jon has been honing his craft. The Traditional Clean V4 is superior to his other Traditional Clean presets, and with the experience he has gained perfecting the tone-matching process, well done overall!
